Site Survey

Give us a call or email and we will set up an appointment to get to know you where you live. If you know exactly what you want please tell us. If you have already made plans please show them to us as this is a great starting point. We can also do an independent assessment. Either way we will come up with recommendations unless you tell us before hand exactly what you want and where you want it. Nobody knows the nuances of where you live better then you do. Communicating your knowledge of where you live is the critical first step in indentifying hazards or problem areas and coming up with a solution.

We want to help you save money. Here is a great place to start.

Energy Audits could be available to you for free. If you are a resident of Oahu and have a HECO account sign up on line for your chance to be selected for the Hawaii Energy Study. Go to hawaiienergystudy.com/application. Fill out the application and submit it. Because Energy Audits are currently being offered for free on island, we are not going to waste your time by charging for the service.

Waste Flow Analysis is looking at capturing waste flows which are actually nutrients. Every household already has a grey, blue, and green bin. What we will be looking at is reducing the amount of nutrient that ends up in the grey bin and redirecting it into a composting system. Landfills on Oahu are very limited so diverting compostable organic matter is an important step in keeping our slice of paradice from adding another dump. I want to show you how to do this because it goes hand in hand with gardening. Vermiculture is the best way to do this.

Raised Bed Garden design is all about finding the best location near the house with easy access to the kitchen. Also and more importantly, we need to find out what your favorite vegetables, herbs, leafy greens, and fruits are and for how many people. With these inputs we will help draw up a continuous garden plan with rotations for you to optimize the year round gardening opportunities on Oahu's mild climate. Prior to our site visit, please email your gardening preferences, how many people are eating, and what percentage of your diet are you trying to grow.

The Site Visit at this time will only consist of locating a site for starting up a compost and for placing a raised bed. Unless you have a different project in mind.
